The EX-TRAFIRE 45SD has been designed to work with both hand and machine torches, making it suitable for conventional handheld plasma cutting as well as automated CNC applications.

On the 230V single-phase version, Thermacut specifies a recommended cutting capacity of up to 12mm, a piercing capacity of up to 10mm and a severance capacity of up to 25mm on low-alloy/mild steel. Duty Cycle

The EX-TRAFIRE 45SD provides a 50% duty cycle at 45A on 230V single phase, increasing to 100% at 32A.

The three-phase version provides an even higher duty cycle of 80% at 45A and 100% at 40A, making the three-phase configuration particularly suitable for applications requiring extended periods of plasma cutting.
