• Argon/CO2 mixes: Argon/CO2 mixes are a versatile type of welding gas that can be used for welding a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The proportion of argon to CO2 in the mix will affect the weld characteristics. For example, a higher proportion of CO2 will produce a deeper weld with more spatter.
